Why choose us
1 / Personalized attention
Instead of just providing standardized approaches, our clinic offers individualized care tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences. We take the time to understand your concerns and goals, ensuring you receive a therapy plan specifically designed for you. Our therapists have smaller caseloads, which allows them to devote more time and energy to each client, resulting in more focused and effective treatment.
2 / Flexible scheduling
Our clinic offers a variety of appointment times to accommodate your busy schedule without waiting for a long time.
3 / Continuity of care
By choosing our clinic, you are more likely to work with the same therapist throughout your therapy journey. This continuity of care can help build a strong therapeutic relationship, leading to more effective treatment outcomes.
4 / Specialized expertise
Our therapists are highly trained and experienced in the psychodynamic and gestalt approaches, which may not be available in many public mental health sectors.
5 / Support for diverse populations
Our clinic is dedicated to providing mental health services to a diverse range of clients, including various cultural backgrounds and mental health concerns, and strives to create an inclusive environment that respects and appreciates individual differences. We have provided services in Hong Kong for 8 years, thus have rich experience in handling cultural differences.
Approaches to Therapy
01

Psychodynamic therapy:
Psychodynamic therapy is a form of talk therapy that focuses on exploring how past experiences and unconscious thoughts and feelings affect an individual's current behavior, emotions, and relationships. The therapist will work together with the client, helping them to untie the knot of heart from the root. This approach can be particularly helpful for individuals dealing with long-standing emotional and relational difficulties. [1] A recent study shows that there are no statistical differences between Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in posttreatment symptoms for adults diagnosed with depression. American Psychological Association's clinical practice guidelines also support Psychodynamic Therapy as it appears to have comparable effects as CBT. [2]
02

Gestalt therapy:
Gestalt therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the meaning-making processes by which we interpret our experiences and the world around us, and encourages clients to be mindful of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the present moment. It also emphasizes the importance of the therapist-client relationship. This approach can be especially helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety or depression. [3] According to the current study's findings, girls with PTSD in medical facilities can benefit from utilizing Gestalt therapy as a therapeutic approach to lessen emotional schemas and promote posttraumatic development. [4] Another study also proved the effect of Gestalt therapy in improving sleep quality and occupational performance among students with insomnia. [5]
